While your trip is being organized in Tanzania, and you too will have to fly to the base - Kilimanjaro JRO Airport and drive to Moshi town, still you decided to pay a middle-man/travel agency out there in Europe, then what do you expect of a price for your trip? The cost will definitely be twice of the actual price that you would pay a local operator in Moshi. When you pay 3000$ per person for a 7 days climb to a travel agency in Europe, do not expect all that money is what a local company in Moshi or Arusha shall receive to organize your dream holiday, from your money (3000$ per person) it is between 1500$ to 1700$ will be sent to a local company where your tour takes place. Now, when we charge you the same amount that they send to us to organize your trips, it is when they call us all sorts of names on the internet, they call us dangerous, too risky and cheap!

Why? Because they are afraid of what will happen if all the travelers choose not to pay a middle-man any more, and decide to deal directly with ground operators at the base where the experience takes place!
